Hello my name is Lauren Schoeny. Schoeny comes from the German word Schön, meaning BEAUTIFUL. This blog is all about my BEAUTIFUL ADVENTURE. I’m a wife, mama, DIY doer, adventure lover, & most importantly Christ follower. For the past few years, many of my friends have encouraged me to start a blog. The idea was a nice, but the thought of adding one more thing to the “to do list” seemed daunting. But as the new year rang in, the desire to blog became stronger, & my mind ran wild with all the things my heart wanted to say. So here I am, jumping in!
My heart for this blog is to share LIFE with you by being RAW & REAL. A lot of people on social media constantly paint a picture perfect life, perfect house, brand name clothes, traveling the globe while looking fabulous. Many of us sit at home thinking to ourselves “how do I get that life?!” Deep down we know that pictures aren’t always what they seem, yet we still strive to reach or attain this false reality. What if we stopped reaching for perfection & relished in the beautiful disaster that we truly are?
Thats what I’m going to try & do here, post about Life: the ups, the downs, the good, the bad & the ugly. I want this to be a place where you are encouraged to be content in your own lives, not wishing for somebody elses. There is no shame in imperfections, that’s what makes each & every one of our stories beautiful!
